LET'S SQUARE
Architecture university of Delft
The idea behind the project is to create a building that, thanks to its composition architetonica able to meet certain requirements imposed by the climate of the place.
At the base is the idea of creating a square as a meeting point and meeting place for students. The square to be lived, however, requires to be covered because of the many annual rainfall that there are in the Netherlands.
The building appears as a large umbrella - plate supported by three functional blocks that goes into creating an entrance - the square below as a meeting place and shelter.
The three blocks serve as classrooms, laboratories, restaurant, auditorium. The large plate elevated section as a library and study area.
